cam swap... Just went through the whole motor on a cam and head swap. replace springs, push rods, and put new lifters in it. have drove it a few times and just now im gettin a pecking noise. it comes and goes. any ideas on my problem....

but the engine still runs well? you need to locate the noise and you can do that with an automotive stethoscope if the noise is coming from the engine itself. it is a very simple tool and most shops have them.
