proper break in.....?

Default proper break in.....?

I tried the search and didnt find what I was looking for..... how much miles or what is the proper break in for new cam, pushrods, valve springs?

There is no break in required for a roller cam. Just heat cycle the springs a few times before you hammer it.

also never get on it until the car is fully warmed... I keep mine below 2500RPMs until the motor's fully warmed up... higher pressure valve springs are more brittle than stockers so you want them warm before stressing them.

let the engine get up to running tempature, gently(idle), and completely cool off then running tempature again, then cool, and so on....
