shim them up .050, try to get atleast 1.750 installed height give or take .010. this will give you more seat pressure. T-rex is a aggresive profile with good lift, and you still will be okay buy shiming them that much. .095 coil bind clearance is what around you will have to be exact. .050 is minium. i would have liked to see you go with the #144833-16, but what you have will work, just put them in @1.750. good luck man.

That doesn't sound right. When I pulled mine off of my stock heads they were up around 1.77 if I remember correctly. I have a spreadsheet of the installed heights at home that I measured on the bench when I was rebuilding my 241 stock heads. I think your seat number is 129 lbs (don't have Crane's specs in front of me, doing from memory of spring rate) and I would prefer a seat value of around 140, which would require another 0.030 under the seat. But that puts you are 1.715, does that give you enough left for clearance?

1.715 range will probably put him in the 138-141lb. on the seat. coil bind clearance with that height will be at .060 w/.610 exh. lift. .050 min.

Just checked the Crane setup on my stock heads from the spreadsheet, average height was 1.765" and the seat was 124 lbs at that height. At your installed height, you should be at 131 lbs. For that cam, a shim is in order.
