I am running Cranes on mine and installed the Yella Terra's on a friends. Both very high quality parts. On the Yella Terra's, in order to obtain the correct wipe pattern we had to use the shims. This will alter your pushrod length requirement. However, having stated that, the wipe pattern we achieved was about as perfect as you can get and the final results with the motor were excellent. The Crane kit comes with new pushrods because of the lower pushrod cup location. The Cranes use a 7.250" pushrod for a stock setup.

Scorpion $379 plus S&H. High quality. Large trunion bearing. Come in 1.7 or 1.8 Non-adjustable. Fit under OEM rocker covers. Don't require guide plates or pushrod upgrade. Uses a "U" channel which holds pairs of rockers in alignment. Installation is straightforward. The others that have been mentioned a high quality as well, but cost quite a bit more(not sure about the Jegs).

I believe Jegs are either $349 or $379.

I've tried doing a lot of research on these, but unfortunately come up with nothing. They by far have the best price. Not sure how these compare to the harland or yella's though, with weight at the head, noise, high rpm operation, etc. Do these come with shims, or are these guaranteed to work with stock heads and aftermarket casted ls1 heads?

I've only installed one set, but the quality is excellent. You can contact Scorpion directly in Florida if you have any questions. The price is right and they come in 1.7 or 1.8 ratio. They were $379 plus S&H from SDPC. No shims are required. The system is kind of a hybrid. It uses a polylock like system similar to Comp Pro Mags, but no guide plates or hardened pushrods are required. This is because of the unique "U" channel they use. The "U" channel rides on the head and handles one pair of valves. The rockers ride on pedestals which look like the polylocks the Pro Mags use, but instead they have two flats at the base on them that keep the rockers in aligment with the valves when the trunion bearing is placed on top of the pedestal. These pedestals sit inside of the "U" channel and the flats buck up directly against the "U" channel so they can't rotate keeping the rocker in alignment with the valve. The rocker is then held in place by the OEM rocker bolts which are torqued to 22lb/ft as usual. This is a simple, but reliable system. They don't require shims and fit under the stock rocker covers. No aftermarket pushrods are needed. You'll be satisfied with Scoprions.

eallenboggs, what are the benefits of changing the rockers? I too wanted to change mine out to these, from Scorpion, while doing a swap to 243 heads and the new LS6 roller tip lifters. I have harden pushrods too. Just wanting to know if its worth upgrading since I put quite a bit of $$ in the car. Thanks

The benefits are higher reliability(rollers in the trunion bearings have failed on the OEMs) and roller tip(reducing friction) which the OEMs don't have. You have to decide if these benefits are worth the cost to you. The design of shaft mounts has the intrinsic benefit of keeping the roller tip in alignment with the valve stem, but cost more(some cost a lot more). The unique "U" channel the Scopions use does an excellent job of maintaining alignment. I believe Scoprion is the only one to use this "U" channel. You'll see this for yourself if you install a set. Plus they are available in 1.7 or 1.8 ratios. You can increase lift and duration by selection a bigger cam in the first place, but the 1.8s give you the option to go bigger if you've already have replaced your cam.

crane quick lifts are a well designed piece, and fit under stock v/c's, except '97-98yrs need slight modification.
