Default Yella Terra 1.8 ratio with TR224 cam?

Can anyone see a problem with using the 1.8 ratio YTs on a TR224/224 (the ramp rates)? That would increase my lift 0.033".

I have in eccess of .100" P-to-V clearance so at worse case .100" - 0.033" would be 0.067" clearance. I also have Comp 987 DUEL springs (real duel....an inner, an out, and a dampener in the middle), titanium retainers, and chrome molly pushrods.

Too much bro IMO!!

If your P/V clearance is down to .067 you're asking for trouble!

If the stock rocker deflects at high rpms, it may only act like a 1.68 rocker for example, so you may get a little bit more than the .033 lift gain.

You could always buy the 1.7's and then buy my TR 230 off of me for a little extra lift

I think the 1.8s would be way too much... even thunder doesn't reccommend using 1.8 ratio rocker arms.
