I am looking at the g5x2 but my car is a weekend car only. That is a lot of cam for city driving.

they say the 224/224 114 is the best DD cam...

IMO anything up in the 230's is too big for a DD

I'd definately go with probably a 224 cam or 226 patriot cam, both make tons of low end and midrange and have great street manners. I'm running the 226 cam in an auto with a stock stall and it drives great.

I drive my car 30,000 miles a year with a cam very similar in specs with no issues....I sit in a ton of traffic, and drive a lot of city driving. I lost more driveability with the clutch than i did with the cam.

228r here! daily driven for almost 30,000 miles. its on 112 lsa with a nice choppy idle. Car made great power from idle all the way up!!! No problems and I've driven a combo of long highway miles and city cruising...

+1 on the VRX3 from Vengance. We installed one in my friends car and it made 400rwh and drives really well on the street. The specs are 226/228 .585/.588 Choices of 112/113/114 LSA
