Default Dyno results

dynoed and tuned it this afternoon......results....

400 HP @ 6,000RPM
385 Torque @ 4,900RPM

I probubly could have pushed some more advance into it without problem but I'll wait and see how it drives around in the heat before I do (can always just punch in a little more at home).

if I'm right, I should be seeing a 12-15% loss in hp through a M6 and 10 bolt (is that right....). If so thats 455 HP/438 Torque (400/0.88= 455)....not "that" bad

Ok, now you can't post your dyno without letting us know what your mods are.

Very nice. You might try a stock maf and see if it increases your hp. Isn't feel good to know you have 400 pony's at the wheels

I would say the best part is being able to KNOW what I have (I HAVE 400rwhp....not...I "think" I have about _____ rwhp). Its a little lower than I was "planing/hoping" (would have liked 425-450rwhp) but now I KNOW and can work on getting to where I want to finally be.

The heads are basically a stage 3 head (2.08/1.60 valve) so I don't know if that caused a me to give up any hp or not (don't think so). If you look, the torque peaked really late but was overall really flat (I'm at 348TQ at 3000RPM ). Anyways, the long term plan is a small SC (Vortech S-trim or P1-SC) to add a few pound of boost (thus the large valves).

The a/f was just under (rich side of) 13:1 ratio.

I KNOW the engine could have taken some more advance but I want to see how it drives in the heat for a little while before I go pushing too much into and get knock.

26 degrees advance with a 13:1 a/f ratio....

this afternoon I put it up to 28 degrees and will see how it does next time I drive it.

after I drove it, 28 degrees up top is just too much for the heat outside. From 4400 RPM+, I droped 1 degree out (now at 27 degrees advance) and left everything else alone.

I didn't "see" any Knock retard (auto tap) but I could hear the engine knocking and I didn't feel like taking a chance. When winter comes I can put that one degree back in it because WOW!!!....it REALLY pulls at 28 degrees!!!
