cam vs cam ?

cam vs cam ? i have full bolt on's my car....which is better a nice 224 or the ls6 cam because i here good things about them both i need to know what would be the best for the buck!!!?????

If your going thru the trouble of installing a cam, don't shove the LS6 cam in there. Go with the TR 224 for an all around great off the shelf cam that has great street manners and yields good power... Your cam selection should be planned, and not something you just decide to do on whim. What else do you plan on doing, heads, blower, nitrous etc...Plan on buying pushrods, valve springs, LS6 oil pump, and timing chain as well. The valve springs and the pushrods are a must. Do you already have longtubes?

if you want the best performance with nitrous I think you will be steered to a exhaust biased cam. The 224 is good choice but for nitrous you can do better.
