Default Re-torque ARP head studs

I just finished installing ARP head studs. Do you guys torque the nuts again after heat cycling the engine ?

I did. I checked the torque on each stud after 2 heat cycles actually. Everyone of the studs clicked the torque wrench, none were loose even the slightest. I almost think it was a waste of time.

I read an article a long time ago in Hot Rod magazine that went into detail about Torquing head bolts/ studs. Basically what they found was the studs "back themselves out". They torqued and re-torqued all bolts. They let the motor sit overnight without starting and marked each stud with a paint stick. Several of these had bakced themselves out as much as a 1/4 of a turn.
