Default Stroker Motor not starting...

I just recently finished my stroker motor and as i went to start it...It starts up on the first day but wouldn't hold idle....fine, it was expected because I have a big cam in there. It cut off, and then ever since then it wouldn't start back up. At first there was no fuel pressure...so i changed the fuel pump and the fuel pressure flew up to 60 psi as I was cranking....the car backfired and there was no fuel pressure after that. Another thing is that although the gauge read 60 psi, when i put a screw driver in the injector rail no gas came shooting out. There should be some type of pressure. What do you guys think? Its just cranking and cranking.

Sounds like the fuel pump is getting the 2 second start signal up for the pump and then not signal getting a signal after that. You might try jumping the pump relay to see if the pump stays on.?

Check all of your grounds and connections again.
