Default Yank SS400, Nos 5177, MS4, and what heads?

I currently have pretty much full bolt ons and am wanting to get alot done on the car this winter. I am looking for around 550+ rwhp and mid to high 10's. I've been doing alot of searching and this is what I have come up with...

Either the Yank SS or PT 4000 stall, probably the SS4000 (I read that this is a better nitrous converter), a dry shot of nitrous between 100 and 150 because it seems like that is about where you should stop with the stock bottom end. I'm looking at the NOS 5177, it looks like a pretty popular choice. The MS4 camshaft from TSP, I've read that this cam and nitrous work well together. But i'm not sure which heads to go with. I would rather not have to flycut but I don't think that the only heads and cam package that TSP offers that does not involve flycutting are the MS4 and LS1 stage 1 heads... and i'm not sure how much better they are than stock and if I will be able to get to my goals with that set of heads. I would like to go with the PRC 2.5 LS6 heads but that involves flycutting evidently. I suppose that if flycutting is going to be necessary then I will have to go that route, I was just avoiding it because I'm really not familiar with the procedure and I am afraid of hurting something.

I just really wanted to get some of you guys' opinions. Like I said, my main goal here is 550+ rwhp and mid 10's. I am open to suggestions! Thanks guys!

Have you been to the track? What are you running as it sits?

no, i havent been to the track yet with this setup and couldnt get accurate numbers on the dyno because of the stall. tuner said im easily over 400 rwhp though which im pretty happy with for cam only. im thinking i should run low 12's high 11's with my current setup.

Anyone else have any suggestions? Streetability is not really an issue as the car isn't my DD.

I would talk to TSP and see what they'll come up with. The cam is their design and they are best people to talk too about their product and what goes best with it. I would figure the prc ls6 heads would be best since they've had great results from it. Plus you probably could good deal from them also.

+1 for their PRC LS6 heads. Don't get hung up on a dyno number, use it as a tuning tool to get everything sorted out, then focus on track times. A4's with a big stall simply won't get you hero numbers, and 550 would be rather tough, even with the 150 shot.

Yeah, I understand what you're saying. I'm not nearly as concerned with the dyno numbers as I am with getting into the mid 10's. I was just wanting opinions on my planned setup and wanted to see if that was the best way for me to go at this point in time. Like I said, I'm open to suggestions.

That being said, is a mid 10 feasible with that setup? or should I be looking elsewhere?
