Default rounded rocker bolt, need help ASAP!!!

i'm putting some heads on my car and i'm at the point where i'm taking the stock rocker arms off. the LAST rocker bolt on the driver's side seems to be rounded and i can't turn it with a 8mm (or 3/8) socket. it was like that when i took the valve cover off. the "bad" part of the head seems to be on the back side out of sight.

WHAT DO I DO??!!?!?!?! is there a special trick anyone knows about to save the bolt, or at least just get it off?

yeah i got it out finally....turns out my 3/8 drive 8mm socket was messed up somehow....switched to a 1/4 drive 8mm and got the bolt out. i'm gonna replace it anyway just to be safe.
