Default MS4 cam owners; how much power are you making, and what other mods do you have?

Like the title reads, looking for power levels of guys who have the MS4 cam in their LS1, and what other mods were done to achieve the power level.

lets see. my car made 404whp and 376 wtq. I have a untouched ls6 intake, ported stock throttle body, 42lb injectors, lid, pacesetters, custom 3" y pipe with flowmaster merge, cutout. I bought the MS4 cam kit, and along with that did a roller master double roller chain and ported LS6 oil pump. I also have a 6 speed and a strange 12 bolt with 410's. with stock injectors and the tune pulled back car went 11.70's at 118 on slicks. so i know how the car feels now, and i am sure it will go a 11.50. car is full weight and everything.

stock bottom end, stock heads.... i think this cam rocks. and drives AWESOME on the street when tuned right..

hope this helps any

Before it went boom...
Ms4 cam kit, 25% underdrive pulley, lt headers, ory pipe, cut out, ram hd, slp lid, ls6 intake, ported tb, on a 6 speed. it did 416.55 and 384lbs.

Just a side note i had a not so good exp. The car was great for about 3 months after that not so much, had power problems after that point. Prob not the cam but take what you want from it. I would have much rather order a custom cam from Tsp instead of a off the shelf grind fyi.

rickyracer25, what injectors were you running? Did you have your car tuned at all?

Well at the time of Dyno I made 478 RWHP and 427 RWTQ with just MS4, PRC stage 2.5 5.3L heads, LS6 intake, crappy SLP headers and running through catback exhaust thats what i made. Now have everything that is in sig PLUS new better tune. No numbers with the new stuff but should be almost 500 or more off the spray.

did you have to flycut with this setup? I'm pretty sure you did but how much, also what cc were the heads?

I have a Trex & GTP stage 2.5 5.3L heads (58cc) and am not sure if its just too large a cam or not... not enough people have them to know

thinkin I might need to change cams...

I would also like to see hp/tq and times from more of the MS4 users. I am thinking about that cam in my LS1.

I'm sure you will have to flycut with that setup especially since you have really large valves and your heads are milled to 58cc's
