Default Cam package noob questions

Hey guys, I'm thinking about buying a cam package from TSP. This is it right here: http://texas-speed.com/shop/item.asp...d=205&catid=47

I have a few questions about it, though.

1. Which cam should I choose with it? My goal is to get 400whp out of the Heads/Cam. My current mods are Pacesetters, TSP ORY, Magnaflow catback, and MTI clear lid. I'm an A4 with 3.23's. I will be getting an LS6 intake and a Performabuilt Lv.2 with 3500 stall before the cam package. Sometime in the future I'd like to add nitrous - a 100 to 150 shot. I'd also like to get a 12-bolt with 3.73's when my 10-bolt breaks.

I would like the lope to be something like this: http://lsx.streetfire.net/search/cam...49011c3d08.htm

And I would NOT like a lope like this:

2. Will my car get louder? I hope so.

3. What extras should I get with the package? I have heard the oil pump is a good idea.

Thanks so much for any help. I have read the stickies about cams here several times, and I just can't seem to understand them.

^^ Thanks. I've definitely been reading your thread. Sounds like our goals are slightly different, though.

I'm looking for all of those things. Sound, hp, and track performance. My car is my DD.

Budget isn't really an issue, but I am choosing heads/cam because it's cheaper than supercharging. I'd rather not spend over $3,000 for the heads/cam package (not including install).

I figure that I shouldn't need a large cam since all I want is to be over 400whp with heads/cam. But I don't know which of those will get me to my goals. Sound clips I've heard lead me to believe that the MS4 is too big.

Just so it's easier on you guys:

The package is AFR 205cc heads, hardened pushrods, and a cam of choice.

The cam options are:

-MS4

-TSP Torquer v.2 cam

- MS3

-TSP 233/239 Cam

-TSP 228R Cam

-TSP 224R Cam

-TSP 220/220 Cam

The extras you can add on are:

-Timing Chain

-Oil Pump

-Gasket Kit

I think you should get the Torquer v2 or the 228r. Both cams will be DD friendly with a tune and they are medium sized. They will have good sound and should perform very well. With those heads and one of these cams you'll be over 400hp! Even through your A4

Thanks, I'll definitely give Jon a call.
