When I got my car back, I noticed it almost sounded like it had a knock or something. My installer said that it was just the valvetrain and that ls1's are known for having them after installing a cam, is this true??

depends on what it sounds like.
having new springs with more spring pressure
will make under the hood sound like a sewing machine.
the sound will speed up throughout the rpm's

Ok, thats definately what it sounds like and it does pick up as that revs do. He told me I had really good springs and that most cars were even louder than that..

Yea mine does it too with Patriot dual golds and my TSP 233/239.

Normal sound in H/C cars.
