Default Patriot stage II/III brand new or used Lingenfelter heads?

http://www.lingenfelter.com/Merchant...Category_Code=

versus

http://www.patriot-performance.com/w...05234&DID=1225

Ignore price, as the used Lingenfelters are about the same price as the Patriots

you can't go wrong with a brand new set of patriots. I wouldn't buy used heads as you don't know the history, and or there may be problems with the head.

Now if you wanted to get a good set of heads then look to AFR, TEA, ET et...

I know AFR and TEA are the ****, just can't bring myself to spend $2200+ when I can get a set of LS6 ported that will come pretty close to AFR's numbers for about a $1200

Even though a valve will fit into a cylinder doesnt mean its the best application. Normally stage 3 heads will have like 2.08 valves. I do believe you can fit them on a stock ls1 bottom end but it can adversly effect cylinder fill.

Just tell Patriot you want a Stage II with 2.02 I and 1.57 E valves.

Talk to Gunnar at Patriot. At this price point, you can't beat the new Patriots with top of the line valve train components in terms of bang for the buck.

Hey, I tried to get a 427 LSX built for me, but my bank account had a seizure, so I have to do something to stay above you in HP!

That is pretty much what I am hearing. Even a guy that used to own a shop locally told me that Patriot heads are a hell of a lot better then they were in the "drops a valve" days.
