Default Getting the lift back

O.K. I just bought a GM Hot Cam off a member on this board (great deal!) and I plan on installing it in my LS6. My car dynod pretty good with the LS6 cam (sig). Most of the posts I've read (yes, I actually searched) are putting the numbers right about where I am now. My question is, how much difference do you think the slightly higher compression and better flow will make on an LS6 using this cam? Also, what are your thoughts on switching to a higher rocker ratio to get some of the lift back to take advantage of the higher flow in the higher lift numbers (.525 hot cam vs. .551 LS6)? Any input would be appreciated!
