Default Head & Cam Questions

I have a 2000 SS with 93k miles (80k on this engine). Already have a Moser 12 bolt with 4.10s, QTP 3/4" headers, GMMG catback, and LS6 intake. Would a heads and cam setup be worth it? Considering mileage. This is a drive for fun car so an aggressive cam would be the choice I make. I'm thinking AFR 205s and a compatable cam. What kind of costs am I looking at ball park. Here is a pic of a dyno run with the list mods. What is the estimated power increase? I've been out of the modding business for awhile now. Looking to get back in.

OK
AFR 205s $2275
Ported Fast 90/90 $1500
Cam $300

Any other expenses anyone can think of? Anyone have a ballpark labor estimate?

Wow I can't believe no one responded to this thread. Must be the holidays. Here was my list that was put together by a performance shop. It'll give you a real close estimate as to the true cost involved and I'll use your numbers above to start.

AFR 205s---------------------$2275
Ported Fast 90/90------------$1500
Cam--------------------------$300

Now add to your list:

Gaskets and head bolts------$90
Double roller timing chain---$100
Chromoly pushrods----------$120
Labor-------------------------$1000 (this may very)
Dyno tune--------------------$400 (this also may very)

Total-------------------------$5785

Considering many LS1's are seeing 120k+ miles and still running strong, I say go for it if you got the cash.
