Question ported 853's milled 30k

everything else is stock on 01 z28, will 7.4 push rods b ok 2 use or will i have 2 go with 7.3..........pistons have not been fly cut.................thanks

I would measure to be sure, but I think 7.375 would be the way to go. IIRC it's alright to be a hair long, but a hair short will make for a noisy motor.

Im goin to assume you also have an aftermarket cam? there on a smaller basecircle, and affect the length needed too. I milled .033", and ended up with 7.350" from TSP. which actually ended up being only .025" shorter then stock if I remember correctly. not as quiet as stock, but not as loud as alot of others combo's Ive heard (talkinga bout the valvetrain noise). with an aggressive cam, your not goin to get it as quick as stock no matter what.
