Default Patriot or Livernois Stage II LS6

Patriot or Livernois Stage II LS6

I have been looking at these two heads and need some help deciding what to go with. I have looked at the AFR 205 and am considering those as well I just would like to save a little by going with one of the others if they flow pretty close. Any opinions on which is better? Mods in sig below. I am looking for top end power (highway speeds) as I have n2o for down low.
Thanks,
Daniel

I'd like to hear the recommendations also.. The livernois claim to flow better than patriot and have a smaller runner, 220 vs. ~227

Guys don't rule out the PRC stage 2 ls6 heads, I think you'll find if you search the recent dyno results that the PRC cylinder heads perform awesome! We currently have $75 off all PRC cylinder heads for the rest of the year...

Checkout the dyno section when you get some extra time, I think that will help to direct you in towards the best cylinder head for the money...

+1 for the PRC heads. IMO, you can't go wrong with them.

Love my Livernois. I have to sell them 'cause they won't feed my 408, but I am considering calling Livernois and asking them to rework them for me instead to a Stage 3.

I am a fan of the 241 heads, do you have flow #s and a price? OR can I send my set to you to have them ported ? Just bare heads, no valves or springs.

Thanks

Warren

6 of 1 and 1/2 dozen of another...

I have Patriots, they have served me well and Gunnar is GREAT to work with. I have no experience with the other companies but see excelent results with them as well.

Daniel,

What cam are you going to be running? A lot of people have had great results including myself. We put a LOT of R&D into the heads and especially into developing stages that work best for different applications. Our stage 2 heads now come standard with our Livernois Exclusive Valve springs good to .690 lift and Manley Titanium Retainers. They are on sale right now and really can't be beat for the "bang for the buck". If you need to buy head gaskets, ARP bolts/studs, and any other misc install materials we can work out a deal for you. Take a look around on here and you will see some of the results we have had.

Please send me a PM if you are interested and I can get you set up. I will try to reply as soon as possible.

Hope everyone has a good Holiday. Merry Christmas and have a safe new year!

We have several versions of our CNC ported 243 heads to offer. Our company has also put much time into R&D, especially on our Predator series heads. If you would, give us a call and we will be more than happy to go over all options including complete kits we can provide you. We think you will find we have more options to offer than many other head providers, with choices ranging from $1095.00 per pair assembled to $1795.00 per pair for the Predator heads. Don't forget we offer a complete line of accessories including Harland Sharp, Yella Terra, JP, ARP, GM Performance, etc.

I talked with Chad @ Livernois and said I would neet to flycut if I used their heads. So I need to know if any of the other vendors have heads that cary stock height with improved flow numbers as my cam is in the car with stock heads now. Just want more power.

Thanks
