Default The numbers are in on 224/224 cam swap

I want to thank all that replied to posts and offered valid suggestions and ideas. Got the car dyno tuned today from Carolina Auto Masters. The results are as follows:
Max Power 393.3 / Max Torque 365.9

I am very pleased and the car feels great. Life is good

6200 rpm. Tune was set up for more of a road course. Lots of mid range and low end punch. This car will rarely see more than 5500 rpm.

My setup is identical to yours. Only differance is QTP instead of Kooks headers.

Great numbers man, very very close to my old 224 setup, and that setup had some touched up 241's so it was considered H/C. Are you running the XE-R lobe cam (.581 lift) or XR (.563)?

My car is not a daily driver. That said with this setup it could be and with know issues. After the tune it idles smooth with a nice lope. It will pull from 1500 till I decide to stop. After the PCM learns a little more it should only get better.

^^ yea, that cam is slightly bigger than my old one and on better lobes, but regardless, those are killer numbers cam only. Those are the kind that **** people off when they buy the cam and expect the same results! Lol.

I run that exact same cam, but I've got a 12 bolt and 4.11's loaded in the rear. Your report makes me feel good about my numbers too. Thanks and have fun. We've got too much snow in Chicago to even think about going for a quick ride.

I have comp cam 222/2224 with 2800 stall torque converter, stainless works off road headers, tune, and I got 363 RWHP at the wheels. Its hard to believe you guys are getting that much more h/p compare to mine. Any thoughts as to why ?
