Default Alternator Bolt hole not tapped in my 6.0 block.. Help!

I just bought a 370 shortblock from Weber Racing. One of the alternator bolt holes wasn't tapped. It's the hole that is suppose to be on the top right of the alternator(outside edge of the block). Is this normal for 6.0 blocks??

yeah, you have to tap it. I think its a M10*1.5 tap. If you are close to denton, I still have the one from mine, I think.

Just take your time when you drill/tap it and use plenty of oil or WD40. I did it and had no problem.

If you mean you already have the two outer holes, that's all you need. The middle one doesn't need to be used.

You do not need that. I have a 370 that I drag and DD for the past 1 year. No tap done, only using 2 bolts with no issues whatsoever.
