idle problem after H/C swap

Default idle problem after H/C swap

ok i just got my H/C swap done and my car was idling at 2000 i found out i had a vacuum hose not on so i put it on the car and my idle went to 900 after running it 2 times the car went back to idle at 2000 and all the vacuum lines were attached do you have and ideas what could be wrong also when i push on the gas it gets stuck like say i rev it to 3 grand it stays there for a few seconds and then drops is that normal just because i dont have a tune or what and also i switched from 98 to 99+ style head is there anything i could have forgot???

id make sure every little hose is put on and the TB and any other palces are torqued to spec so that no air escapes or comes in w/o being metered.

otherwise, maybe your IAC is messed up

did you get a SES? my old car did this, it was a throttle positioning sensor. id recheck everything make sure nothing is loose.
