Default point me in the right direction

when i installed my pacesetter headers my ypipe never banged, ever ever.. i realized after i had my textralia clutch installed it now bangs like no ever. is there a reason why?

You had to take the Y-pipe out to install the clutch, so maybe it needs a little adjusting to to put it back the way it was before.

yep, Ypipe may not be all the way on the headers. Better yet, just put in some motor mounts and call it a day!

as mentioned above plus does car have orig. trans cross mount? could be banging there.

I dont have the Pacesetter Headers on my car but I do have FLP Long Tube Headers on mine and I put a new motor in my friend 2001 SS Camaro and he bought the Pacesetter Headers and his and mine did what you are talking about and we (I done the work LOL). We bought them form Summit Racing with motor mounts/transmission mount kit part number PTP-7-1908 price now is $71.99. They are the clam shell type and it will fix your problem I am pretty sure. thanks a lot guys, tomorrow i am going to change the tranny mount and also try to adjust it. if no go than have the motor mounts changed. thanks again guys for the help
