Default Twinscrew?

I'm interested in putting a Kennebell on an LS1. I understand there are fitment issues with the cowl and windshield. How difficult would these issues be to get around and would it be worth it. The reason I ask is because I see how well these blowers respond on smaller 4.6 and 5.4 mod motors so it seems the kb could really be a beast on our cars. I belive I've seen the new shelby's making between 8-900rwhp w/ a kb 2.8. I noticed that a forged 347 from TSP is reatively inexpensive, about half the price compared to like a 408 or 427 which is why I'd be fine w/ keeping the stock cubes. Any insight or experience would be greatly appreciated....thanks.

Well I've been on their website, http://www.kennebell.net/supercharge...gmCorvette.htm and I know they make them for the LS1. Of course it's for the vette but an LS1 is an LS1 right, other than having fitment issues for our cars. I'm pretty sure I saw on this site a guy who put a magnacharger on a fbody so why not put a much more efficient blower like a KB?

All these links seem to be in relation to the magnacharger. Would the install be the same w/ a KB??

Real easy. Nobody makes one. Plenty of people want one.

There is one guy working on one, or atleast talking about working on one on this forum (rjb or something like that). But he's working with a vette aswell.

Perhaps the setup from the new LS9 could be adapted when that motor comes out?

we should see, its a 2.3L posi unit, so id say 700rwhp shouldnt be too hard to turn out of it
