Default As far as track times go, how much quicker would afr's be than ported ls6 heads??

I'm getting close to doing a head/cam install on my 98Z and I have a f13 112 cam, but I'm torn between the afr 205's or patriot 243's.. They will probably be milled to 61cc with .040 gasket with ls6 intake, lid, pulley, full exhaust, and ss4000. How much better track times do you think the afr's will produce over the patriots?? Dyno numbers don't matter to me, only track times.. Who's got the info..?

The AFRs will accept the mill and gasket on that cam but the PP won't without flycut.
The AFRs should make more power therefore resulting in better times if your suspension is dialed in.
In general every additional 10 rwhp should theoriticaly yield .1 sec better times.

put the AFR head on it. You will be glad you did. Like predator said, horsepower will net better ET, as long as you get the suspension to work with it.

so the afr's won't have to be flycut with my combo?? That's a plus already. One more question for the head experts. Given my cam and mods (eventually going to a ported fast 90/90) would I be better off going with the afr's or tfs 215's?? I've heard you can mill the tfs heads for more compression and not affect ptv clearance?

You can only mill so much, once you achieve good DCR it is detrimental to mill more.
I would stick with the AFRs, why? Because there is no need for roller rockers and at the durations of the F13, that combo does very well and it is cheaper. Almost $1k more for an extra 10rwhp is not worth it to me IMO.
