Default Need a Little advice on Roller Rockers!!!!!

I have a GMPP HotCam with a .525 lift, and I ran on a sweet deal on a set of HarLand Sharp 1.8 Roller Rockers. Do any of you guys recommend these RR's and will my Ls6(yellow) Springs be good enough?
thanks in advance!

The rockers could be a nice addition but I don't think the LS6 springs will keep up with the additional valve train acceleration you will get with the higher ratio and those rockers have more inertia than the stockers. You can likely use the rockers if you upgrade your springs to something like the PAC 1218's.

the springs I'm told are good for .580 lift, does that matter at all?

.525 lift with a 1.7 rocker will become .555 lift with 1.8 rockers.

i thought the ls6 springs were .560 lift capacity.

i'd upgrade personally...valve float is bad mmmkay

That cam could use some more lift..if I were you I'd get some different springs..they are not expensive..some 918s will take care of that cam/rocker combination.

Lift capability is only one parameter that must be considered. The seat pressure, valve train weight, open pressure all must be considered. The LS6 springs, in my opinion, have too low a seat pressure and are not stiff enough and will not keep up with that cam and rockers. You could shim them to increase seat, but then you run into coil bind question. PAC 1281's should resolve this.

Upgrade your springs retainers and push rods to do it right.
