Default Just asking?

My friend got a cam which he installed in his 01 m6 trans am. Am he got it tuned at MTI and he was telling me that when he would back up is car would sometimes stall out. Is that normal, should it still sometimes stall out even with a tune?

This all depends on what size cam you get and the tuner, the bigger the cam the harder the tune... MTI, I am sure can tune it pretty good but dyno tune and real world tune are different and takes time to wrinkle out the bugs. Get EFI live and do it your self.

I have a mild cam 222/224 566/568 112 LSA my engine dies when i rev up the rpm & as it descends it dies. My idle in drive is set at 950 rpm. I haven't had a chance to take the car back to the tuner to fine tune it. I don't know much about mods but it seems to me its not right the car idles at 950 rpm in drive.

Definately not right... IT takes time, that why you should buy EFI live and learn and tune the car yourself.

+1 but I use HP tuners. When I first had my car tuned it would die unless it was warm. My cam isn't big at all (TR224 112). I wasn't happy with it so I learned to tune it myself. Turns out my tuner never adjusted my VE table which needs adjustment if you put a cam in. A lot of tuners don't bother with this since it takes time. Once I got that table squared away the car purrs like an angry kitten (nice lope). I was even able to lower my idle RPM to 750.
