Default Any results from Patrick G's "Donkey Dick" cam??

I saw a few posts about people saying they were gonna use it or order one, but I have seen no dyno numbers or track times for it. Just wondering if anyone ever actually ordered the cam and got any data from it. I believe the specs were 235/243 .646/.653 (LSK) 110 + 4. I am interested to see some good numbers or track times....

good god thats big. Why wouldn't you just go with a solid cam? The ramp rates wouldn't be near as cushy and there would be much more accurate valve control.

to be honest, I think the person they ground this for was doing some experimention with it and using solid roller lifters on it as well. But it is a Hyd. roller profile, I have the cam card at home.

Whoever uses it better be damn quick at swapping valvesprings every 10-20K

That sucker will put out some good numbers no doubt...

To the top...still wondering if anyone has used or is using the cam in my first post. It may be a while, but i am gonna do another motor and I am interested in using this cam. I would love to hear if anyone has any experience with it, or numbers, or track times, etc.

I find it hard to believe no one has anything on this camshaft. It looks like a nice cam to me. It seems to be a G5X3 on LSk lobes...I bet it makes big power and has a decently nice torque curve too!!

I'm pretty sure my friend has one in his vette. He was going to put it in his TA, but it got totalled. He bought a C5 and it's in there now with some ported 853 heads. I don't think he's gotten it on a dyno yet.

Have you ridden in the car or has he made any comment as to how it performs? I expect its a good cam, just wanna hear some real world results. I will probably run it on a 112 + 4 LSA instead of 110 + 4. I wanna put it in a 370ci with PRC L92 heads, or another brand of CNC ported L92's, and run around 11.2 to 11.5:1 compression. Havent decided on the car yet though. Could be a 98-02 Trans Am or SS, or could be a 3rd gen camaro, maybe even a 71, 72 Nova. Either way, I wanna be around 500rwhp, with under 400ci. That way, if I tear something up, my motor has room to grow.

I think it's something extremely close to that. I think it's a 238/242 I don't know what lobes it's on. It's not exactly that cam.

It will be a while...probably next year before I can even start it. Houses arent cheap, but at least I have a roof over my head! HAHA! How is the old beast doing? I miss it bad now! I dont even have a car or money to do a build, but I am on here everyday and reading up and preparing for my next project. I didnt plan as much on the motor you have as I am on the next one, or it may have been a little more efficient. However, it seems to have turned out well...is it still running strong?
