Default Anyone have ptv issues with my setup

I am installing the prc stage 2.5, 5.3 liter heads with the MS3 cam. I have been assured that there will not be any problems if the cam is lined up dot to dot. But what if? Has anyone had a problem before I install this into my 200o trans am. Also the cam is cut with 1 degree of advance, should i worry about degreeing the cam more?

Clay the pistons and degree the cam! It takes less time to do it right, rather than have to do it over.

Since you will already have the heads off, it would be my recommendation to verify your clearances. Even with the heads on you could still verify. You could easily modify a hydraulic roller lifter (to make it solid), pick up a pushrod length checker and some organic modeling clay and you are set.

Used roller lifters for our cars are a dime a dozen on Ebay.

We offer a PRC stage 2.5 5.3l head specifically configured for the MS3 camshaft.

One of my employees has a 475+rwhp daily driver setup just like that! Just make sure you order the combo specifically for the MS3 camshaft & you should be fine!
