Derek,
That Trak camshaft is a very good camshaft & should have clearance for a wide range of different cylinder heads. We run a lot of the PRC stage 2.5 5.3l heads with the 231/234 camshafts with great results. We typically see 40-45rwhp gains from bolting on these cylinder heads. The PRC stage 2.5 5.3l heads are available fully assembled with double springs for $1199.99 or $999.99 with the heads setup for you to install your double springs!!

Is that 40-45rwhp gain w/ a 90/90 setup or ls6? I might be in the market for these...

I'll vouch for the PRC 5.3 Stage 2.5's. I had mine milled to 59cc chambers and run a .040 cometic gasket. I flycut .080 on the intake when I was running the Torquer 3. I switched to the 228R.
As for the heads, the quality and finish are fantastic. Throttle response is incredible. The engines pull hard all through the rpm range.
I think it was money well spent.
