how big can i go?
this isnt full out race it will probly be a f/i car that gets drivin on the road alot.........
and are alot of people runnin the zo6 cams with f/i???

If I remember right it depends on the block. Sonic testing will show you how far they can be bored. As far as stroke you can go as far as you want with deck plates.

deck plates??
i think im going to go with the stock bore........are a couple more cubes worth it??
im thinkin i would wrether have more there so i feel safe when boosting

on the 6.0 iron block for FI application the best thing to do is stay as close to the 4.00 bore size as possiable. The extra cubes will not be worth the extra cylinder wear cuased by flimsy cylinder walls. I also agree that sonic checking the cylinder walls is good insurance however late model GM blocks are much more consistent on casting quality then the older gen1 and gen 2 engines.

To me it would be worth it to have the extra combustion area to run a bigger bore chamber. But if you are considering a ls6 cam that may not be for you as its not sounding like your power goals are not much more than 500.

im thinkin scat h-beams---eagle crank----dish mahle pistons stock bore
maybe a 200 shot
