Default Just realized I'm going to need valve covers...

So I have a 98 T/A that I'm in the process of doing H/C on... Well I ordered PRC 5.3 2.5's milled to 59cc from TSP and I'm not going to be able to use my stock valve covers will I? Damn, things just keep adding up that I have to buy. Oh well, I guess that's the way it goes sometimes....

Anyways, do you guys know where I can go to get some updated valve covers with the new bolt pattern? Also, how much does it usually run? Should I just go with a nice aftermarket set?

Thanks

How much are OEM from the dealership or GM parts direct? Do you guys know? Depending on how much they are I might just buy nice ones.

Yeah, Junkyard ftw. GM never had a problem with its valve covers, and you can find them in a WIDE variety of vehicles.

Yeah, I guess I'll just have to pony up and buy some. I'm just going to keep my eye out in the Sale Section for a pair. I'm just kinda bummed about it because I didn't factor that in when I was pricing all of this stuff, my mistake, and now I have to come up with what looks like at least $300 for stockers and coil brackets. I, like everyone, just hate unexpected expenses. Oh well, like I said, it's my mistake....

I was stating the $300 for everything if I bought it new, I wasn't aware of how many sets of used valve covers there were for like $40 or so. This won't be nearly as bad as i thought...
