Default how difficult?????

i seen a thread where a guy put a 454 cast iron in to a red 99 trans am.
so i know it possible. and yes i have one sitting in my garage. i want to build the motor for 650+ hp. NA
what would need to be done to make this work??????
does any one have the link to the transam thread?
it will be going into a 99 z28.

looks like more trouble than it's worth imo, i say sell it and get a 408. But for the sakes of being original, i say go for it.

i dont want a 408 because everyone and their mom has one. to hell with the 408. lol.
GO BIG OR GO HOME as i always say. i know there was someone that did it.........

it can be done, but these engines are better imo. I have had a couple bbc and a ton of sbc engines and i just love my gen 3.

Obviously, you prefer to do things the hard way. Hopefully you have some good fabrication skills and/or deep pockets.

lsx blocks are way to dam much money to build to my specs. i want to get 800hp or more. and it is a bbc. if i do it, it will def be worth it in the end.

why not chop up a v6 car for the bbc and leave the Z28 with the ls1?
