New block - what is included? If I buy a new factory aluminum LS1 block, what does it come with:
1. Cam shaft bearings installed
2. Main caps
3. Main cap bolts
4. Timing chain cover
5. Freeze plugs
6. Oil pan??????????????????????

Re: New block - what is included? The new 6.0L blocks we bought come with cam bearings, main caps, main bolts. No oil galley plugs, no coolant plugs (called welch plugs when they are threaded) I'd assume the 5.7L block is similiar.
