Default Anyone runnin a 228/236 588/595 114 cam?

Wondering who is running this cam and what results you've had or seen. Also how does it sound and drive? I purchased one from RMS but still saving for a converter before it goes in. My best to date is a 12.66 @110 w/ a 1.94 60' its an A4 w/ most bolt on and still the stock converter just tryin to get an idea of what to expect.

I have the cam on a 112 with MTI stage 2 heads. Car is my only car and daily driven. Had some pretty bad stalling problems until I worked a lot with LS1 edit. It behaves itself pretty well now. I'm shifting 6600-6700. It almost feels like the shift points could be a bit higher to me, but I need to get it on the dyno to find out for sure when the power is starting to fall off.

The cam sounds nice, and shakes the car at idle at 800 rpm. It is still pretty mellow sounding in my car as I have a really quiet exhaust system. I had the B1 cam in the car before this previously and picked up a lot at the track from the cam change from the B1 to this cam.

The car runs good, it idles "well" once it catches its idle, I have to let it sit for a min or two upon startup, but once it learns it idle it is fine, it cams its a$$ off at 950rpm I love the cam, wouldnt do anything different. Its in my daily driver, and once you get used to the little bit of surging every now and then, and the car dying sometimes with the ac on its not a big deal for a big cam.

Im pretty close to that cam (228/236 .571.601 111LSA. I love it, but I want more already. I too got this custom cam from mark @ Raging MotorSports, along with my SII 5.3's.

Yup, the tnt is on, but once again the car is down for a while. I sent Bret (bauer) my T.B. to get ported, and powdercoated.
