clint, you can do it in one day no problem. The biggest problem will be getting the oil pan off. It's pretty straight forward and make sure you Loc Tite the cam bolts.

Ummm why does he have to take off the oil pan for a cam, valvespring, and timing chain swap?

To get the timing chain out, you have to remove the oil pump. To remove the oil pump you must disconnect the oil pick up tube from the bottom of the pump, and do do that, you need to drop the oil pan down some to get to it.

NOTE that only F-body guys have to do that. C5's dont require it.

dont vettes have to drop the steering linkage or something?

all you have to do is unbolt and drop the pan down, youll get the pickup bolt off then the pump, vettes have to remove the rack and pain in the *** brake module,, oh ya dont drop a lifter
