Its ok to have a Lean tune in the lower rpm's and part throttle but when you got to WOT its gotta be in the 12.8 range for NA car and lower for FI applications.

I had a car that ran 14.8 to 1 from idle to 2.5k, as soon as WOT occured it instantly dropped to the desired range and it was safe.

Your running 14 to 1 on the WOT and its slowly going down.

Do you know if that dyno has an issue with their A/F meter??

no this was a dyno day and one guy said his tune from another shop show the same thing so I m asuming that it was on point. also if mine is 14 -1 at idle and goes down at WOT is that good or bad, sorry if I sound confused but I just trying to understand the AFR

Is it just me? I am seeing 371hp 356tq.. It is a bit lean, shouldnt the red dotted line be at 13:1? not 11.8:1 or whatever its at in the pic? It looks like you are starting out near 14:1, then at higher RPMs it looks like it lowers to 13:1 give or take.. at least it doesnt stay at 14 throughout the range

you know what they say "redline a day, keeps the carbon away" but I am consertive driver and most of my driving is highway driving.

Thanks

Where are you located ? You should get the car custom tuned , a mail order tune should be used to get you to the dyno and have it custom tuned .

It's not horrible, if you're not getting knock. From what I can see, it's like 13.8:1 at low rpms and begins to drop as the rpms rise. Although 170miles a tank seems low, it's not crazy. I typically see 230-250 depending on how I drive. If you are throttle happy, I can believe 170miles per tank.

pcm for less did my mail order tune

I am located in northern VA and I am ordering Heads and and Intake manifold (on there way) so tune should be comming up shortly

considering this is my first V8 also it is in an RX7 so I get throttle happy frequently I need to control myself.

Yea that wll do it...if you kept the throttle normal you should actually get pretty good milege being as your car weighs less than an Fbody.
