if you go used, send it off to get it cleaned and inspected.

a new yank ss3600 is $675. i would stay with a good one like yank if i had to do it again.

you also need valve springs, pushrods, a good tune is a must if you go that big in an A4, a tranny cooler for your new stall, and its a good idea to go ahead and replace oil pump and timing chain. cant forget gaskets and bolts as well.

to get the most out of it youll need:

headers-pacesetters w/ y= $500ish
intake- lid and ls6 intake =$425ish

you NEED to do those before you think about any cam, let alone bigger ones

TSP camshaft package w/ PRC dual springs & pushrods=$699
oil pump=$100
timing chain=$30 from dealer
camshaft bolt and gasket kit=$43.99
stall=whatever you find a used one for, yank ss3600 is $675 new
tranny cooler=$60
tune for that cam in an auto=$500
various stuff usually equals out to be a little more than you think, i started out trying to go cheap and have since ended up around $4500. best advice is do it absolutley right the first time
