I did a search and didnt find a answer to the question will the victor jr fit under the stock hood if not what hoods will work. Also any pictures would help cause I would like to see how much of the cowl you have to cut. Thanks!

I am in the process of installing mine right now. I have an SS hood and had to cut a section of it out to make the hood clear (don't have the cash for another hood right now). So to answer your question, no the stock hood will not fit. I will post up pics as soon as I get some.

I Had To Cut My Stock Ss Hood Also, So I Decided To Cut More And Put A Carb Nitrous Plate On And It Looks Bad ***. I Used The Intakeelbow Setup And It Almost Cleared Without The Plate. I Think It Will With The Low Profial Elbow That A Sponsor Has On Here.

I have the Vic Jr. with the elbow from Nitro Dave's and it fits under the stock hood fine with no cutting. I didn't have to notch the cowl, but I did just in case. It was easier to do it since I had the motor out and you can't tell since I put the factory rubber strip across the cowl back on.
