Default (rename) adjustable 1.8 rockers?

in the near future, I want to swap out my factory 1.7s for some 1.8s to get some more lift (I like the durration I have).....

Whatever I get, I want it to be able to adjust for valve lash on a solid cam (possible future mod)....

but...

at the same time I would like to avoid paying $1000 for 7000+ RPM capability.....

I'm looking at:

1) Yella Terras (~$500)
2) Crane roller rockers (~$700)
3) adjustable Jessel rockers ($ ?? cost?)

which ones should I go with?

I didn't think to ask, but are the Yella Terras adjustable?

I want something that I can adjust for pre-load on my hydraulic lifters now and then in the future if I do a solid cam, I can adjust for valve lash......

T&Ds all the way if you are looking for an adjustable rocker. They are priced very well and work excellent in either a solid or hydraulic roller application.

I used these on every solid roller I ran with great results.

Comp cams is making a pro magnum adjustable rocker kit for our cars in 1.75 and 1.85 ratios for around 500 dollars for the kit. The kit includes rocker studs, rockers, guide plates and locks. You must use hardened push rods with the guide plates. These are new and just showed up in tthe 2003 master catalog. The 1.85 vare available now 1.75 wil be later.Higher ratio rockers will put more load on the lifter plungers in hydraulic lifters, but will reduce inertia induced float account moving lifter and push rod less, given equal valve lift and acceleration rate.

I really like Comp's Pro Magnum (I plan to use them on my big block that I am working on....) but its too bad they don't make them in 1.8....

1.75 is only 0.017" more lift (would give 0.579" lift).....

and 1.85 is 0.050" more (would give 0.613" lift).....

well...I just called Jesel and they said the SS series shaft rockers that SDPC2000.com sells for $695 are NOT adjustable for valve lash......

the adjustable ones ae $1200 .....so I guess I will have to look at something else....
