Do yourself a favor & visit "Bob is the oil guy," website. There you can learn all about what's best. There have been very good used oil analysis reports posted there after using 0W-30 German Castrol, 5W-40 Amsoil, & 5W-30 Pennzoil platinum. Used oil analysis will tell the story about how well oil protects against wear. Further, a little moly additive like Schaeffer's isn't a bad idea.
