Default oil pressure/lifter "pump up"

just recieved a melling oil pump for my cam swap on saturday. it includes a +10 psi relief spring installed in the pump. it is also supplied with a stock pressure spring. heres my question... im running the factory ls1 lifters, do any of yall believe the increased pressure will aid high rpm lifter "pump-up". if so, would yall recommend installing the factory pressure spring? im not doing anything else, just a tsp 233/239 cam, prc dual springs, pushrods, ls2 chain.

I don't see the need for the additional pressure, and this pump puts out more volume as well. Maybe too much if you run at sustained high RPM. Even Melling says its overkill in one of the magazine articles. I would swap it to the stock setup if it were my car.
