Default got some Q's

Have bad news apparently my SS has decided to ingest water and now I'm pretty sure I have a broken rod now. the motor isn't torn down all the way yet, due to lack of motivation and money.
Question is im trying to rebuild the shortblock and want ok products w/o braking the bank and found this on Ebay(lovely Ebay).
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H-BEA...em250223121463

seems to be fairly good **** for price, jus wondering if anyone has experience w/ these componets, or any ideas.
i'll be doing this entire build in my garage and the shop at work
basicly yay or nay im not looking for a monster build jus a DD that can be some what strong. sry if im ramblin, long day

gonna go with something like that in the bottom, if crank is k, massage the heads throw a custom grind and tune her and call it a day thats all i plan on doing for now with the possibility of juice

its an okay setup, its just regular sbc rods instead of the on-center ls1 style. they will work, but sometimes it takes extra for balancing.

you are covered as long as you use paypal and purchase from a verified ebay member.
