Default Rocker Arm Adjustment???

I am swapping my heads out and need to swap over the rocker arms. when I do this, is there any adjustments that I need to do to get them correct? On LS1How to .com, they say to just torque the bolts to 22lbft., but from friends in the LT-1 world, they have to adjust theres as to not bend a rod or get chatter.

Thanks for the help,

Scott

LS1 rockers are not adjustable, but you should make sure you have between a quarter turn and a full turn of preload on the lifters. If everything is stock then just torquing to 22 lb-ft is fine, but if you are making any changes to the heads or valve train, better check the first one.

How do I check that? I am adding a TR 227/224 cam and JPR S2 heads milled .030.

7.400 will be fine for that combo. Just torque and go.
