Ok, I've got two LS1's I'm working on. 1 in my 2001 Z-28, 1 going into my '71 Camaro. The 2001 is getting an STS kit w/ FMIC and meth while the '71 will be n/a. The 2001 has an LS6 engine in it now and the '71 is getting the rebuilt LS1 that was in the 2001 before it hydrolocked. My question is, would it be worth swapping the LS6 cam in the 2001 w/ STS for a MMS 229/229
.578/.578 114? I just picked one up for a good price, or should I save that one for the n/a '71? Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!

From my understanding i have heard that the ls6 cam is good if your going to have a turbo set up. So if i were you i would keep the ls6 cam in the 01 camaro w/ the sts set up. Theres lots of threads of people just asking about the ls6 cam just do a search.

Um go with a customn turbo cam if you want the most out of the motor with the STS...
