Default ARP rod bolt TQ specs

ok re-assembling my forged rods and piston 347 its got eagle rods with ARP 2000 rod bolts whats the tourqe specs?

i think its 63# with moly lube

ok so is it 63 or 75? ive got the moly lube just maken sure before its time to put it back together thanks

when we put my bottom end back together we tqed the arp rod bolts to 45ftlbs 3 times to get the stretch,hope it was enough ive got like 2000 miles on it and havent had any trouble yet.

My instructions said 45#, Mine are the economy arp bolts. The 80.00 ones. 3 times to stretch.

Use stretch gauge rather than a torque wrench.

Depends. The 3/8" diameter ARP 2000 rod bolts are 45-50 ft/lbs, but the 7/16" are more like 75 ft/lbs. I think some Eagles and SCATs use 3/8", but most have a 7/16" (and that's not the socket size, but the actual diameter of the threads).

If it is your standard SBC/LS1 Eagle rod w/ ARP 2000 bolts, they get 74lb-ft w/ ARP moly lube. Verify stretch with a stretch gauge for most accurate fastening.
