Default 407.9 rwhp 400.0 rwtq w/stock heads and hotcam

Not sure if this is normal...

'02 T/A WS6 m6
The dyno was on a hot, humid and rainy day in Hawaii. My mods consist of LS1 Hotcom, STOCK HEADS, ported throttle body, lid/filter, ASP pully, SLP LT's, Loudmouth, Moser 9" w/3.50, Nitrous driveshaft, and McLeod Street Twin, and LS1 Edit tuning. This is through the exhaust also!

Numbers are 407 rwhp / 400 rwtq

Tell me what you think...and is this normal?

I was very excited to see the numbers to say the least!

Normal? Hell no! Holy crap...through a 9", too? You gotta be kidding me!! If the dyno operator didn't skew the numbers, you ought to be real proud of that! Good job!

They played around with the numbers and they got a little higher than that....but those were the corrected numbers ...we are hoping to dyno again on a clear and dry day to sneak out some more. The dyno operators were in amazment, as well as the rest of us. And it was so hot today too!!!

Looks like those numbers are not corrected...But they are still incredible.

That is nuts with SLP headers and a 9" (both are robbing a little bit of power)

I have actually seen close to 400 RWHP on stock heads with the hotcam before...An old-school member, I think he posts as Viceral now. But I have never seen that kind of torque .

Could this acually be the first hot cam car to break the 400hp mark. Hurry up and dyno again and get corrected numbers. If you loose a lil of the unnessary drive line weight (nitrous driveshaft and swap the 9 inch for a 12 bolt) im pretty sure it would be a solid 400 at the wheels after its corrected

I have to call on this one. Graph looks good, but not with that cam. If you are legit, email me your LS1 Edit file, I want to take a look at the tuning.

I have Stage 2 heads, TR 224 cam SLP LT no cats, cutout, ported TB, lid, 160 stat, and perfect tuning. The best I did was 412HP & 396 TQ.

Jealous? I would be, but those numbers seem very high for a Hotcam. Even my bolt on, C1 cam, stock head car won't dyno that high. I'm hoping for 390, but that might be a stretch. Perhaps those numbers are not corrected...

Nope, those results are not normal at all with a hotcam. Not even close!

dam dude thats cool, dont worry bout everyone bashing your claim. if its true then you know it and thats a sick car, if not then well, you know it too and have to live with it, you listed the mods and shown dyno proof, just get some track times and go from there, track times are everything in this game,, good luck and nice dyno....

BilliumSS, dont hate man, I was there and I know this punk has a hotcam in it. talk about pissed, it was very humid yesterday, like florida summer humid, and barely broke out a rain, more like sprinkle. I believe this pull was like #5, I got there and they had already began tuning, cool down time if thats what you wanna call it was about 8min. The car pulls hard, on dyno and track. Hell I tried to get him to use my K&N FIPK, but he wanted the numbers as he runs her.

Good job Ben, now go whoop Raegan!

1BDHWK, doesn't lie...but he does spend most of his time at the shop working on that car from what I know. However those are some sick #'s!

I figured I would get a few of these...your welcome to look at my Edit tuning...I will shoot you an e-mail...and if it makes you feel better...the car pulled 383 rwhp and 376 rwtq before Edit with just a MAF-T.

Thanks Charles and Dave....Yep...maybe now I can beat Raegan at the track!!!

Dont think you can beat her, being
1) she's got a hawk
2) she can drive, she cant burnout, but she cuts lights
3) she is your wife, so if you beat her...no pie for you later.
4) think there is an order of merit list to get to her, first Rex, then whatever other M6, then You can step to the A4's.
Terrible if ya try jump on A4 races first, then I whoop ya.

I know some of you are in shock and some don't believe...but my wife and I both, are not dyno hounds.

We build our cars to perform on the track...I knew my car was a strong car from the beginning...It reacted like crazy to little mods.

I will go ahead and list my full mods and let you decide for yourself:

SLP Lid w/ Holley filter, Shaner S2 ported throttle body, ASP pulley, NX 80000 EFI DP(still have to put the fuel system in), SLP LT's race pipes, Loudmouth, Mcleod Street Twin (Steel), Steel Nitrous driveshaft, Moser 9" w/3.50 gears, BMR Extreme sway bar, BMR Extreme torque arm, MAC subframes, Spohn LCA's, HAL 12way shocks front and back w/ drag springs, and LS1 Edit tuning.

And for the record...My wife constantly woops my @ss at the track!!! Until know.
