TSP 231/237 .598/ .595 cam?
Has anyone dynoed or run there car with this cam at the track? What would be the max that can be shaved off of a set of stage 2 ported heads?

i wouldn't shave anything off if i was going with that cam. the G5X2 is just about the same size and it comes real close with stock heads.

I almost went with that cam... but the lift numbers were kinda scary. Being as I may want to shave the heads eventually, I went with a custom grind 232/236 .585/.585 113LSA on an XE-R lobe from Speed Inc. They matched (better) the price on the cam / spring / pushrod package as well vs TSP.

Re: TSP 231/237 .598/ .595 cam?
Do those high of intake durations fit a head milled .015 (stage 2 valves)? I have been considering a 228/236-.571/.602-112(+4) XER lobe design for some time but am waiting to see what is working with the big cams...for once.. I have decided if I go that route I will swap out the lifters. I am very satisfied with my current stick...TR224/114...but thought it would be a good winter project. With the lifts you are using I don't think that swap would be necessary. I originally wanted to stay in the 580 lift range but did not know it was possible with an aggressive lobe. This is good news! Can't wait to see your results!

I just got mine the other day. I'll post results after I install it in a few weeks. I'm hoping it will put me in the low 10s on the bottle, but we'll see.
