MMS 224/224 .570/.570?
Anyone running this camshaft. Morgan Motorsports made a post a few months ago about the new 224 cams, but I haven't seen any further info on them. They were supposed to have a little less ramp in them to help out with springs as compared to a TR cam or XER lobes. Getting bout time to buy a camshaft and wanted to get your thoughts on this one. Thanks!

I'd like some more info on this cam, as well. I've been looking at it and the TR224, and as John pointed out, I too remember MMS saying the cam utilized a "spring-saver" design.

Talked to someone that had the MMS 224v2 (not the newest one but the one before) he was happy with the gain. His 99 SS made ~383rwhp with LS1 intake and SLP headers other back stuff. Car sounded incredible. I also saw cam doctor data comparing the area under the curve between my SRP spec'd 224 XE-R and the MMS 224v2. The ramp rates were pretty similar with the XE-R being a tad more. The XE-R had more lift. Overall the XE-R had a little more area under the curve based on the graph of the profile of the cam lobe. I would consider the MMS224 cam along with the TR224.
